These terms and conditions apply to any user or tenant who intends to use the Online Payment Service to make payments to WIHCON Properties Limited (WPL), its assigns and/or successors. Prior to use of this online payment service, the user/tenant must agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. Therefore, we implore you to read these terms and conditions carefully. WPL, its assigns and/or its successors reserves the right to amend the said terms and conditions at any time, without giving prior notice.
Terms & Conditions
Once the user agrees to accept the Terms and Conditions herein, the user may register and use the service.
Payment through this service may only be made with a credit or debit card.
The credit/debit card information supplied at the time of using the service will be processed by the Payment Gateway of the Service Provider and is not provided to WPL, its assigns and/or its successors. It is the responsibility of the user of the service to ensure that the information entered into the relevant fields is correct. It is recommended that you print and retain a copy of the transaction for your record keeping purposes.
The user agrees, understands and confirms that the personal data including without limitation details relating to debit/credit cards, transmitted over the Internet, may be susceptible to misuse, hacking, theft and/or fraud and that WPL, its assigns and/or successors has no control over such matters.
WPL, its assigns and/or successors does not represent or give assurance that the information so provided online by a user will not be appropriated or intercepted by a third party. WPL, its assigns and/or successors does not accept or assume any liability in the event of such unauthorized interception, hacking or other unauthorized access to information provided by a user of the service.
In the event that your account appears to be debited, ensure that you do not make the payment twice and immediately thereafter contact WPL, its assigns and/or successors via email, or any other mode of contact as provided by the same, to confirm payment.
If your Bank Account is not debited, then you may initiate a new transaction to make payment.
The User agrees that under no circumstances shall WPL, its assigns or its successors, be held responsible for such fraudulent or duplicate transactions and hence no claims should be raised with WPL, its assigns or its successors.
WPL, its assigns or its successors assumes no liability whatsoever for any monetary or other damage suffered by the User on account of:
The delay, failure, interruption, or corruption of any data or other information transmitted in connection with use of the payment gateway or services in connection thereto; and/or;
Any interruption or errors in the operation of the Payment Gateway
Debit/Credit Card, Bank Account Details
The user/tenant hereby agrees that the debit or credit card details provided for use is correct and accurate. The user agrees that a credit or debit card not lawfully owned or authorized to be used shall not be used to make payments through this service.
When a user initiates a payment transaction and/or issues an online payment instruction and provides the card/banking details:
You warrant that you are fully and lawfully entitled to use such credit/debit card;
You are responsible to ensure that the bank account details provided by you are
accurate;
You are authorizing the debit to the nominated bank account for the settlement of
payment of rental and maintenance fees, along with the applicable charges and taxes as well as other incidental charges.
Privacy
The information shared during each transaction will be kept confidential and shall not be shared with anyone and will not be transferred in any form or manner, unless required by law.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
Cancellation Policy
Once the user is registered and has paid the fee through the online payment gateway, the user will not be able to cancel the transaction in any circumstances. No payment will be refunded.
The Payment Gateway facilitates access to pay fees online. By accepting the terms and conditions herein, the user expressly agrees that the gateway will be used entirely at the user’s own risk and responsibility.
